Biography

I strive to express the forces of good and evil in opposition to each other: between the sacred and the profane, light and darkness, and between life and death. At the same time, our human inevitability to choose one or the other becomes apparent. If we are as insignificant as the cosmos imply, then we are faced with a certain feeling of smallness and with the capacity and or responsibility to worship that which is much greater than ourselves without minimizing who or what we are, but also including the very eros within. Our choice to find beauty amid ashes is where my appreciation and enjoyment for art begins.
