Signup
- I am having a problem with the signup process, what should I do? Contact the administrator at info@artsavvy.com. In your email, include a summary of your problem.
- I never received a confirmation email, what should I do? First check your junk email and make sure the email isn't there. Next make sure you are signed into the email account that you used to register with ArtSavvy.com. If neither of those options solves your problem then contact the administrator at info@artsavvy.com. In your email, include a summary if your problem.
- Can I have multiple accounts for one email address? You can not.
- Any other problems with signup? Contact the administrator at info@artsavvy.com. Make sure to give a summary of the problem you are having.
Login
- I can't log into my account, what do I do? Click here to reset your password.
- I am not receiving the reset password email, what do I do? First check your junk email and make sure the email isn't there. Next make sure you are signed into the email account that you used to register with ArtSavvy.com. If neither of those options solves your problem then contact the administrator at info@artsavvy.com. In your email, include a summary if your problem.
- I don't have access to the email account that I signed up with, and I forgot my login information, what do I do? In order to reset your email address, you must contact the administrator at info@artsavvy.com. In your email explain that you no longer have access to your email address, include the new email address you wish to use. The administrator will get back to you requesting additional information from you. Once you provide additional information correctly we will send you a confirmation email to the new email address you provided the administrator.
Featured User of and Featured Art
- How do you decide who is a Featured User or what is the featured Art? ArtSavvy Offers this spot for users to advertise themselves and their art. If these spots are not filled by paying users, then they are filled by users that have a minimum of a 4.0 rating.
Ratings
- How does ArtSavvy.com calculate overall ratings? ArtSavvy's overall rating system is a combination of individual user ratings and individual art ratings.
Privacy
- Can I block information in my profile? It is key for the users of Artsavvy.com to have access to the information on all the users profiles that are on the site. What you can do is limit the information that you provide in your profile, meaning, only include the information you want others to see.
Misuse
- There is a problem with the site, what do I do? Contact us via email at info@artsavvy.com.
- My email address is no longer active and I can't remember my password, What do I do? Contact us at info@artsavvy.com and we will get back to you in 24-48 hours to fix the problem.
- Someone is using my art as their own on ArtSavvy.com, what do I do? Contact us at copyright@artsavvy.com subject Art Copyright Infringement. We will ask the user to prove to us that the content is theirs (Unless in obvious cases, in which it will immediately be removed), if they can't, then the content will be removed, and any other copyright infringements by that user will result the deletion of their account. In your email please include their username, the art title, your contact information, and a brief description of the copyright infringement. You my also report this problem by clicking on the report link on that users profile page, or by going to the report page.
- Someone is pretending to be me on ArtSavvy.com, what do I do? Contact us at identitytheft@artsavvy.com with the subject Identity Theft. Once we verify that the account holder is impersonating you we will immediately remove them from the site. In your email please include their username, your contact information, and a brief description of the identity theft. You my also report this problem by clicking on the report link on the users profile page, or by going to the report page.
- My Art was removed from the site, what happened? They were probably removed because of some sort of copyright infringement. If your own copyright material was removed follow this link (link to copyright section) and follow the instructions under counter notification. You my also report this problem through the report page.
- My profile was removed from ArtSavvy.com, what do I do? It was most likely removed because of misuse in the form of identity theft, copyright infringement, abuse, or a combination of everything. If you feel like your account should note have been deleted contact us at info@artsavvy.com. Please include your username, contact information and a summary of why you don't think your account should not have been deleted. We will contact you to discuss the situation, decline your request, or approve your request. You my also report this problem by clicking on the report link at the top of every page.
- A user is abusing ArtSavvy.com, how can I stop them? Contact us at abuse@artsavvy.com. Include the users name, your contact information, and a summary of the abuse. You my also report this problem by clicking on the report user from their profile page, or by going to the report page.
Security
- My account was hacked and is sending spam messages to all of my friends, what should I do? Contact our security officer at security@artsavvy.com and let him know exactly what happened.
Deactivate or Delete account
- I want to deactivate my account, how do I do it? You may deactivate your account by emailing info@ArtSavvy.com
- I want to delete my account, how do I do it? Once your account is deactivated only you and ArtSavvy.com's administrator can access it.
Reactivate Account
- I want to reactivate my account, how do I go about doing that? Email Info@ArtSavvy.com.
Safety
- How can I gain access to my child's account? ArtSavvy.com, in most cases, is forbidden by federal and many state laws to give unauthorized access to someone who is not an account holder. If you are a parent or school official, we encourage you to use software tools on your own computers to assist in overseeing your child's Internet access. If your child is under 13 and you believe they have created a ArtSavvy account, but the Childrens' Online Privacy Protection Act gives you the right to access personal information they have provided before ArtSavvy follows its policy of promptly deleting such data. You may access and direct the deletion of such data by having them sign into the account and then deactivating the account, or by making a request by email to ArtSavvy. Please send requests to privacy@artsavvy.com.
- How can I help my child use ArtSavvy safely? Talk to your child and make sure they don't share their password with anyone, understand who can see information that they are posting (and what information they should never post on the internet), report people that violate ArtSavvy's terms of use (link and delete this), and block anyone, who is sending them unwanted content.
- What are some other resources available regarding internet safety? Some good resources are www.onguardonline.gov, www.wiredsafety.org, www.commonsense.com, www.ncmec.org, www.truste.org, www.connectsafely.org, www.netsmartz.org, and www.webwisekids.org.
