Description
3D design will introduce students to sculptural methods by focusing on 3D concepts and the principles and elements of design. We will work with wire, cardboard, paper, clay, plaster, paint and other materials to explore the possibilities of line in space, shape and form, texture and color. All elements will culminate in a final discussion of concept behind a proposal for public sculpture. Critiques and lectures will accompany demonstrations and time to work in class.
