Shading and Texture Technique Practice

My teacher assigned us an exercise to practice our shading skills with graphite and different shading techniques with ink. we also practices drawing textured surfaces with both graphite and ink.

Here is my working collection of my work from taking one semester of a beginning drawing class and an almost completed semester of a beginning painting class. i have been inspired by these two classes and hope to build a fabulous, diverse and well-done portfolio.
