Pink Heart with Tangerine Echo Earrings

These original fused glass earrings are 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" long. The hearts are formed in a mold I designed and made, using crushed glass called frit. The glass shrinks as it melts in a kiln and multiple firings are required to create cohesive shapes and patterns.

These earrings are made with a rich pink interior and a soft tangerine outline along the edge of the heart. The gentle blend of color is dynamic and eye-catching.

They are attached to sterling silver ear wires with 24 gauge sterling silver wire, wrapped and accented by playful turquoise glass beads speckled with tiny bumps that start white at the base and blend to yellow and finally orange at the tip. These are bracketed by bright pink seed beads.
