In Exodus God gave very detailed specific instructions to the artisans in building the tabernacle. He also does this with artists today as He desires to communicate through art to His people. This painting is of a vision God gave me while reading Revelation 5 about only one being worthy to open the scroll, the Lamb.
I saw very specific details of the whole scene, knotted looking trees and the landscape. Finally years later I've developed technique through digital technology to create precisely what I saw. I realized the landscape scene was the Garden of Gethsemane and the trees were olive trees. He knew when He travailed at this place what was about to unfold. The image was created from a collage of photographs to create precisely the scene in my vision, then taken into painter software and digitally painted by hand with an oil brush as my pen mouse.
“It is my calling to create high quality fine art and to partner with missionaries and ministry organizations to create funds for furthering the Great Commission. I partner with those serving this purpose, then work together to finish the job of making Christ known.”
If you are a ministry needing to raise funds a percentage of sales could be raised for your ministry.
